Pulaski County Grand Jury Indicts 52 Individuals Print E-mail

A total of 52 people have been indicted by a Pulaski County Grand Jury on charges ranging from drug distribution to child neglect.

Rebecca Lynn Colbird of Pulaski was indicted for possession of cocaine. The alleged offense took place on May 19, 2008.

Daniel Wayne Conner was indicted for driving after being declared an habitual offender. The alleged offense occurred on June 30, 2008.

Wendy Leigh Frank of Baesprings, Va. was indicted for breaking and entering and for grand larceny. The alleged incidents occurred on June 22, 2008.

Robin Lynn Midkiff of Pulaski was indicted on three counts of false pretenses. The alleged offenses occurred on Dec. 1, 2007, Jan. 1, 2008 and Jan. 2, 2008.

Leticia Marie Warden of Pulaski was indicted for carnal knowledge. The alleged incident took place on Aug. 1, 2007.

Jason Lee Atwell of Hiwassee was indicted for malicious shooting into an occupied vehicle. The alleged offense took place on May 26, 2007.

Teresa Gaye Crowder of Pulaski was indicted for larceny. The alleged offense took place on May 13, 2008.

Ashley Dawn Collins of Pulaski was indicted for larceny. The alleged offense took place on July 24, 2008.

Sergio Cesar Gonzalez of Dobson, NC was indicted for unlawful wounding. The alleged offense took place on July 2, 2008.

Brandon Lee Mattox of Columbus, Ohio was indicted for distribution of cocaine and for transportation of cocaine. The alleged offenses took place on May 23, 2008.

Steven Andrew Mattox of Columbus, Ohio was indicted for distribution of cocaine and for transportation of cocaine. The alleged offenses occurred on May 23, 2008.

John Christopher Page of Radford was indicted for DUI-3rd offense with 5-10 years. The alleged incident occurred on July 31, 2008.

Randal Slade Frazier of Pulaski was indicted on two counts child neglect. The alleged incidents took place on Aug. 25, 2008.

Bruce Elliott Gray of Radford was indicted for distribution of more than ½ ounce but less than five pounds of marijuana and for three counts of possession of firearm by a felon. The alleged incidents happened on Dec. 19, 2007.

Jon W. Lockwood, II of Radford was indicted for larceny. The alleged crime took place on April 23, 2008.

Donetta Lee Worthington A/K/A Donnetta Sifford Worthington of Parrott was indicted for obtaining drugs by fraud. The alleged offense took place on June 17, 2008.

Matthew Lee Mathena of Dublin was indicted for rape. The alleged offense occurred on Jan. 15, 2006.

Johnathan Christopher Woodie of Pulaski was indicted for firearm theft, for grand larceny, for two counts of breaking and entering and for possession of firearm by a felon. The alleged offenses took place on Sept. 13, 2008 and Sept. 12, 2008. 

Christy Sue Burton of Pulaski was indicted for identity theft. The alleged offense occurred on Aug. 15, 2007.

Ryan Edward Brockmeyer of Pulaski was indicted for DWI-3rd or subsequent offense. The alleged incident took place on Aug. 11, 2008.

Lee Roy Carter, Jr., of Dublin was indicted for possession of a gun on school grounds. The alleged i9ncident occurred on Aug. 19, 2008.

Warren Andrew Gentry of Radford was indicted on two counts of failure to register as a sex offender. The alleged incidents occurred on July 29, 2008.

Walter Kevin Lambert of Pulaski was indicted for failing to return leased property. The alleged crime occurred on Feb. 8, 2007.

Kenneth Earl Roberson of Antioch, Tn., was indicted for two counts of identity theft, for credit card theft, for two counts of credit card forgery, for grand larceny, and for two counts of receiving stolen property. The alleged offenses occurred on June 5, 2008.

Myron Doyle Sharp of Max Meadows was indicted for failure to perform construction. The alleged offense took place on May 6, 2008.

Charles Glen Shomo of Pulaski was indicted on two counts of obtaining a title by fraud. The alleged incidents took place on Feb. 22, 2008.

Alicia Michele Poole of Roanoke was indicted for child neglect and for larceny. The alleged offenses took place on Sept. 21, 2008.

Alvin Ray Ward, II., of Pulaski was indicted on 10 counts of forgery, 10 counts of uttering and one count of larceny. The alleged offenses took place on July 3, 2008 and July 6, 2008.

Brenda Biggs Conner of Pulaski was indicted for larceny. The alleged offense occurred on Sept. 18, 2008.

Crystal Lynn Linkous A/K/A Crystal Lynn Montgomery of Pulaski was indicted on three counts of false pretenses, two counts of forgery, two counts of uttering and for possession of morphine. The alleged offenses occurred on May 24 and June 1, 2008.

Joshua Kane Talbert of Pearisburg was indicted for grand larceny. The alleged crime occurred on April 23, 2008.

David Lee Jeter, Sr. of Pulaski was indicted for assault and battery on a family member-priors. The alleged incident happened on Oct. 7, 2008.

Larry Dewayne Crosier of Pulaski was indicted for F/S/accident involving property damage. The alleged offense occurred on Aug. 10, 2008.

Joshua Jonathan Hairston of Bassett was indicted for possession of a knife by an inmate. The alleged incident occurred on Sept. 17, 2008.

Lynn Marshall Hughes of Pulaski was indicted for embezzlement. The alleged offense took place on Aug. 10, 2008.

Edward Keith Wade of Dublin was indicted for false pretenses. The alleged offense occurred on June 13, 2008.

James Ray Gregory of Pulaski was indicted for breaking and entering, for grand larceny and for possession of a gun by a felon. The alleged incidents occurred on Aug. 8, 2008.

Terrance Lamott Alexander of Pulaski was indicted on three counts of distribution of cocaine. The alleged offenses took place on April 8, 10 and 23, 2008.

David Lee Allen, Jr., of Pulaski was indicted for distribution of cocaine. The alleged offense happened on July 24, 2008.

Samuel Alexander Armbrister of Pulaski was indicted for distribution of dihydrocodeinone. The alleged incident occurred on Jan. 22, 2008.

Kevin Scott Boerstler of Pulaski was indicted for possession of oxycodone. The alleged offense occurred on July 26, 2008.

Shawn Edward Cook of Dublin was indicted for larceny. The alleged offense occurred on May 19, 2008.

Geneva Boysaw Davis of Dublin was indicted for distribution of buprenorphine and for distribution of hydrocodone. The alleged offenses occurred on June 10, 2008 and Aug. 27, 2008.

Thomas Allen Ferguson of Pulaski was indicted for distribution of buprenorphine and for distribution of morphine. The alleged offenses occurred on Feb. 6 and Feb. 29, 2008.

Stephanie Dawn Horton of Dublin was indicted for distribution of hydrocodone. The alleged offense occurred on July 10, 2008.

David Allen Hughes of Pulaski was indicted for distribution of oxycodone, for possession of oxymorphone, for distribution of alprazolam, for distribution of clonazepam, for distribution of dihydro/acetam, for firearm theft and for possession of a firearm by a felon. The alleged offenses took place on Aug. 3, 2008 and Aug. 11, 2008.

Jeremy Wayne Morris of Newbern was indicted on two counts of embezzlement. The alleged offenses took place on March 1, 2008 and April 1, 2008.

Melissa Gail Ratcliffe of Pulaski was indicted on two counts of distribution of methamphetamine. The alleged offenses occurred on Aug. 8, 2008 and Aug. 13, 2008.

Anita Boysaw Smith of Dublin was indicted for distribution of morphine, for distribution of oxycodone, for distribution of fentanyl and for distribution of more than ½ ounce but less than five pounds of marijuana. The alleged offenses occurred on May 16, June 20 and June 24, 2008.

Joshua Caleb Spence of Dublin was indicted for forgery and for uttering. The alleged offenses took place on June 17, 2008.

Rodney Allen Taylor A/K/A Robert Allen Taylor of Dublin was indicted on two counts of grand larceny. The alleged offenses occurred on Feb. 25 and Feb. 26, 2008.

Jeffrey Harrison Wright of Pulaski was indicted for distribution of imitation morphine. The alleged offense occurred on Feb. 12, 2008. 

Michael Burnette Crigger of Pulaski was indicted for breaking and entering, for firearm theft and for possession of firearm by a felon. The alleged offenses occurred on July 21, 2008.’

Chevy Duane Donithan of Pulaski was indicted on four counts of forgery and four counts of uttering. The alleged offenses occurred between Aug. 26 and Sept. 1, 2008.

Pulaski Community Hospital Receives Chest Pain Center Accreditation

Pulaski Community Hospital announced Friday, Dec. 12, 2008 that it has been designated an ‘Accredited Chest Pain Center’ by the Society of Chest Pain Centers.  According to the Society’s most recent update, only 13 other hospitals in Virginia were accredited as of September, 2008.

SCC Accepts Allegheny Power Rate Settlement

RICHMOND — The State Corporation Commission (SCC) has determined that an agreement to settle a rate increase request by Allegheny Power in Virginia is a “fair and reasonable” resolution of the issues, consistent with the laws and facts governing the case, and therefore should be accepted, according to an announcement made Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008.
