WDBJ - Channel 7 is reporting that 33 people have been permanently laid off Thursday from Goodyear's Rubber Mix plant in Radford. The facility is downsizing from two shifts to one. To see the story, click here.

This news comes just after New River Valley residents were told of layoffs taking place at Hubbel Lighting, Montgomery Regional Hospital and Pulaski Communtiy Hospital.
