Fire officials are still on the scene at this hour investigating the cause of an early morning fire Monday that destroyed the historic Pulaski Train Station and the Raymond F. Ratcliffe Memorial Museum.
According to Pulaski Fire Chief Bill Webb, the fire department received the call at 12:06 a.m. from a passerby. When they arrived on the scene, they found the building fully engulfed in flames. Fire departments from Pulaski, Draper, Dublin, Newbern and Fairlawn worked for more than three hours to bring the fire under control. Fire marshals are still on the scene at this hour investigating the cause of the fire that destroyed the building, which was built in the late 1800s.
