Greta L. Dowdy of Newbern was charged with DUI following the 2:30 p.m. accident, which took place on Rock Road near Park Road.

According to Lt. Andy Wilburn of the Radford Department of Police, three people were transported to the hospital and one of the patients had to be extricated from their vehicle by the Radford Fire Department. There conditions are unknown.

No details concerning the accident were released, as it is still under investigation by the Radford Department  of Police and the New River Valley Regional Crash Investigation Team is assisting.
