Kenneth Douglas Skinner, 40, of Pilot was arrested Friday for possession of child pornography following an investigation by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

According to police, Skinner was arrested at his place of business in Christiansburg, which was a local computer company, and charged with possession of child pornography. He is being held at the Montgomery County Jail without bond.

Prior to his arrest on Friday, officers with the Christiansburg Police Department, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department and the Bedford County Sheriff’s Department had executed three separate search warrants. One of those search warrants was at his place of employment on Friday, in which a laptop computer and 14 CDs were seized, another search warrant was executed at his Huffville Road residence on the same day as well. There officers seized two laptop computers, six CPU towers and various other computer related equipment.

No court date has been set for Skinner.
