The ceremonial administration of oaths of office, the election of the vice mayor and the passing of several resolutions will highlight tonight's Blacksburg Town Council meeting. The meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. and is held at the Blacksburg Municipal Building.

There will also be a public hearing concerning an ordinance to accept a grant from the Virginia Department of Conversation and Recreation for the Ellett Valley Loop Trail. Town Council will also make assignments to various Boards, Commissions, Committees and Task Forces.
