Body Found In Downtown Radford |

The Radford Department of Police is currently investigating a body, which was found in Downtown Radford Saturday evening, behind a local fast-food restaurant.
According to Lt. R.A. Wilburn, the body was found at approximately 7:30 p.m. behind 113 West Main Street near the Sonic. The body, which police would not disclosed if it was a male or female, has been sent to the Medical Examiners Office in Roanoke for examination and a positive indentification. According to Lt. Wilburn, no foul play is currently expected. The Radford Department of Police, along with other agencies, are working together to quickly identify the body. The police department is not releasing any other details at this time, as it is still an ongoing investigation.
