Pulaski Fire Prevention Week Parade
Slide Show Pict

Pulaski's Fire Prevention Week Parade sounded throughout the blue- and red-light-brightened downtown, as over 1000 spectators lined the sidewalks on Thursday night.

Smokey the Bear, Sparky and several friends joined in the crowd-pleasing parade. From ladder-trucks, antique trucks, to community-group floats, everyone could find special interests.

The Phillips family of Pulaski brought 6-year-old Logan, as they attended for their fourth consecutive year. Logan said that he was mostly there to see Sparky, the fire-prevention mascot. The Patton, Peaks and Wall families joined with their children to enjoy the celebration.

From Elliston, to Rural Retreat, trucks joined in unity to recognize National Fire Prevention Week. The Pulaski parade is known to be one of the best, with over 200 units joining for a night of glistening sights and unique auditory delights.
