The family of a Blacksburg woman is asking for your help in locating their daughter, who they believed was abducted by her husband, a wanted sex offender.
Susan Gabrielle “Gabby” Elmore-Burns, 20, had not been seen by her family since late February and they believe she may have been abducted her husband, Keith Lee Burns, 39, a convicted sex offender. Mrs. Burns is described as a 20-year-old white female, brown hair and brown eyes, 5 feet –5 inches tall, weighing 115 pounds. She has been listed as Missing-Endangered by CUE Center for Missing Persons. Mr. Burns, who is currently a wanted sex offender by the Virginia State Police is described as a white male, 39-years-old, 6 feet – 1 inches tall, brown hair and hazel eyes. According to information provided by CUE, Mrs. Elmore-Burns was last seen in the company of her husband, Keith Burns, a former Burger King employee in Blacksburg, Va., who is wanted by Virginia State Police for failing to register as a violent sex offender. Mr. Burns is also wanted for violating probation that stemmed from a 2004 conviction for producing, distributing and/or financing child pornography. A third warrant has been issued charging him with the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. The pair was last seen in Columbus, Texas, and may travel back to the Blacksburg area or to California. The two had been married for two months, and he had apparently told his wife falsely that his mother was dying of cancer. Mrs. Elmore-Burns’ family reports that their daughter is bipolar and isn’t taking her medications. Pointing to her quick marriage to a man twice her age with a violent criminal background, they also say that she has a learning disability and is easily manipulated. At least partly due to Mr. Burns’ violent criminal history, the Blacksburg Police Department recently added Mrs. Elmore‐Burns to NCIC — the FBI’s National Crime Information Center, which is a computerized index of criminal justice information that includes missing person’s information — as missing and endangered.Anyone with any information on Mrs. Elmore-Burns or Mr. Burns are asked to contact Officer Purdy with the Blacksburg Police Department (540) 961-1150; Sgt. L. A. Estes, Virginia State Police (540) 375-9517 or 1-800-542-5959; The Cue Center for Missing Persons at (910) 343-1131 or (910) 232-1687; or any local law enforcement agency.

Thank you for posting about the missing Susan G Elmore- Burn. She has been missing for 112 day now without any contract to anyone. It is important that the NVR know when one of it own is missing.
