SUV Crashes Into Mobile Home, No One Injured

No one was injured Monday night when a SUV crashed into a Montgomery County mobile home and caught fire.

According to Lt. Sarah Walker, the Blacksburg Volunteer Rescue Squad responded to the call at 10:25 p.m. at 330 Merrimac Road. Upon arrival, the SUV was found protruding from the trailer, which was in flames.

It was also reported that the SUV struck several other vehicles before coming to rest inside the occupied trailer. The resident escaped from the trailer uninjured.

The driver, nor anyone else, was injured.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the accident. No other details were available.
