Six Area Seniors To Compete In 2009 National Senior Games Print E-mail

Six area seniors will compete in the 2009 National Senior Games, which will be held in San Francisco, after qualifying in the 2008 Virginia Senior Games held in Virginia Beach. Those heading west include Peggy Duncan, Adrena Palmer, Doris Oliver, Naomi Agee, Don Agee and Willis Webb. 

Also, the Christiansburg Parks and Recreation Department served as host of the recently completed 30th Annual New River Valley Senior Olympic-Games, which was held at various locations throughout the NRV.

Listed below are the winners who earned a Gold, Silver or Bronze Medal.
