Area police are conducting a golf tournament to be held on May 20, 2008 at Draper Valley Golf Club to support the Virginia Police Chiefs Foundation and their Commonwealth Youth Conference for Leadership Effectiveness (CYCLE). 

This program is sponsored by the Virginia Police Chiefs Foundation and conducted by the Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Tech.  This week long program is offered five times during the summer sessions at Virginia Tech.  Rising high school sophomores are afforded the opportunity to gain valuable leadership skills from Professors, Staff, College Student Counselors and School Resource Officers. The purpose of the school is to provide young people the skills, knowledge and attitudes for becoming professional leaders in their respective communities.
