Driver in Fatal Radford Bicycle-Car Crash Charged

The driver involved in a bicycle-car crash on April 23rd that resulted in the death of bicyclist Forrest “Fess” Green has been charged with reckless driving.

Ryan Brinkley Sherman, 20 and of Radford, was charged and released today on his own recognizance. He faces up to twelve months in jail and a $2500 fine if convicted of the Class 1 misdemeanor.

Green succumbed to his injuries six days after the crash. He was a Professor of Management at Radford University.
