Montgomery County School Superintendent Tiffany Anderson will be heading to Memphis on Monday, as she is the first of five candidates scheduled to be interviewed for the same position for Memphis City Schools. According to the Memphis City School’s website, Anderson is scheduled to be interviewed at 4 p.m. on Monday. Another candidate, Kriner Cash, Chief of accountability and system-wide performance, Miami-Dade County Public Schools is scheduled to be interviewed at 5:45 p.m. Yvonne Brandon, Deputy superintendent, Richmond, VA Public Schools is slated for a 1 p.m. interview on Tuesday, May 13, at 1 p.m. The final two candidates, Nicholas Gledich, Chief operations officer, Orange County, FL Public Schools All the interviews will be coordinated by consultants of Ray and Associates, the national search firm selected by the Board of Commissioners to assist in the selection of the district’s next superintendent. According to documents filed with Anderson’s application, it was revealed that she has also applied for the superintendent’s position with Alexandria (Va.) Public Schools.
