Governor Kaine Calls For Statewide Day Of Remembrance In Honor Of Virginia Tech Students Print E-mail

Governor Timothy M. Kaine is calling for a day of remembrance tomorrow, Wednesday, April 16, 2008, to honor those lost one year ago at Virginia Tech. He will order state flags flown at half-staff for the day and asks for a statewide moment of silence at noon followed by a statewide tolling of bells. Governor Kaine will attend the university convocation tomorrow morning at 10:30 a.m. on the Drillfield at Virginia Tech.
