Some of the other activities, which the crowd enjoyed, included cookie decorating, bluegrass Christmas music by Pulaski Grass, gospel music, caricature drawings, Christmas story telling read by John White, Pulaski’s Economic Director, as well as food. Two of the most popular events were the marshmallow roasting by an open fire, as that was the hottest spot on a chilly late afternoon, and visits with Santa. As for the food, the biggest seller was, hot chocolate. “We had a good crowd today,” said Pulaski Town Mayor Charles Wade. “These type of events bring small ethnic groups together to celebrate and we need more of these type of events.” The afternoon festivities concluded with the lighting of the town’s Christmas tree. The Pulaski Middle School undefeated football team and the school’s cheerleaders turned the switch to the tree on, as the crowd cheered.
