A second Pulaski County High School student was arrested Wednesday afternoon following Tuesday’s incident, in which a threatening note was found in a girl’s restroom at the school.
The 17-year-old female, who is a junior at the school, was taken into custody at the school shortly after noon,” said Pulaski County Sheriff Jim Davis. She has been charged with making threats at the school. Just last night, a 16-year-old female, who was also a junior at Pulaski County High School, was taken into custody and charged with making threats and due harm in a public facility. The two were arrested after a threatening note was found in the girl’s bathroom Tuesday morning, which led to an investigation by the school and the sheriff’s department. On Friday, a bag of ammunition was found in one of the girl’s restrooms, thus closing the high school for the day. No other arrests are expected. However, Davis said additional charges could be coming against the two in relation to the found ammunition. There was extra security at the school on Wednesday and attendance was slightly down according to officials. Give us your opinion on this story.
