EverythingNRV will be web-casting the candidate forums in Montgomery County, the third of which will take place tonight at the Town of Blacksburg Municipal Building starting at 7 p.m. Tonight's final forum will feature those running for the Board of Supervisors and School Board. To listen to tonight's candidate's forum, just click on the links located on the upper left-hand side of our main news page. “We are very excited about having EverythingNRV.com web-casting our forums this year,” said Mary Houska, President of League of Women Voters of Montgomery County. “This is just another way we can inform the voters about the candidates and the important issues facing them.” Candidates are which are scheduled to appear this evening include the following: Board of Supervisors District B: *Douglas Marrs (R) Board of Supervisors District E: William Brown (D) and *Steve Spradlin (R) Board of Supervisors District F: *Mary Biggs (D) Board of Supervisors District G: *John Muffo (D) School Board, District B: *Penny Franklin School Board, District E: *Wendell Jones School Board, District F: Write-in Candidates: Joe Ivers and Kelly Harrison School Board, District G: *Wat Hopkins [*=incumbent] The Web-cast can be accessed by going to www.everythingnrv.com and is available in Windows Media or Winamp formats.
