RHS Soccer Teams are "Home Town Heroes"

The RHS Boys and Girls soccer teams were honored Wednesday night for their State Championship wins. Their victory was recognized with a community reception, where the teams had their pictures hung in Applebee’s and were given a key to the City by Mayor Tom Starnes. Both varsity soccer teams won the 2007 State Championship after several trips to the playoffs in past years, and it was the first time Radford High School has had their boy’s and girl’s soccer team win State in the same year.
