Faith That Moves Mountains: First, Forget The Mountain Print E-mail

When reading Jesus' words in Mark 11:22-24, I have never known whether the mountain he mentions is symbolic or real. The Bible simply says, "'Have faith in God,' Jesus answered. 'I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, "Go, throw yourself into the sea," and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him.

Once again the Center for Digital Government has named the City of Roanoke as a Leading Digital City. Roanoke ranked second in the nation for 2007 among the cities in the 75,000 to 124,999 population category.  Santa Monica, Calif., was awarded first place in the category.

 
New River Health District Offer Flu Shots Print E-mail

Flu vaccine is available at local health departments within the New River Health District. Flu shots are offered by appointment only in each health department to all individuals who desire to protect themselves from influenza this season. The fee for the flu shot is $30 per dose and is covered by Medicare and Medicaid.
