The Free Clinic of the New River Valley has announced that Rhonda G. Seltz, M.S. has been promoted to the position of Director of Programs.  Seltz will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the clinic’s programs, which include pharmacy, dental and medical.

The Virginia State Police have issued an alert for a missing child, missing from her Charlottesville home. They are looking for Lorena Sanchez-Toledo, Hispanic female, age 12, 5 feet tall, 150 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and an unknown-colored shirt. The child is believed to be in danger and was last seen leaving her home in the Meadows neighborhood of Charlottesville.
