The Ferrum College scare of a gunman loose on that campus has worked its way to Virginia Tech. Virginia Tech authorities were informed by the Virginia State Police this morning about an individual stating he was "on his way to Virginia Tech". An email sent to the students this afternoon states that "this person has been found and is not considered a threat, and indeed, had a legitimate business here. He is not the person seen with the weapon this morning and has no connection with the Ferrum incident. Authorities at Ferrum continue to search for the person in question". |
