As a true blue Democrat, let me sum up what most Democrats are thinking today - House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is an idiot. The almost 70 years old Democrat, who continues to wear tops far too small for her 'busty' build, basically killed the $700 billion Wall Street rescue plan on Monday. The Republicans got this one right - Pelosi's speech prior to the vote was terribly partisan. Pelosi's speech was basically a 'rant' placing blame for the financial problems squarely on the Bush Administration. Perhaps you are like me and differ with the 'bailout,' but Republicans and Democrats alike have to admit that Pelosi laid a goose egg with her speech to the House. |
