New River Valley Community Services provides community based behavioral health services that promote independence and improved quality of life for our citizens.

Our staff and volunteers are dedicated to the following principles:

Empowering individuals, families and the community to have a healthy and productive life;

Providing an array of services in an efficient and effective manner that support the needs of citizens of the New River Valley;

Educating citizens regarding mental health, mental retardation and substance abuse; and

Respecting and preserving the individual dignity of all citizens in our community by providing our services in a fair and professional manner.
