Description: Giles Rescue provides 911 response for Giles County 24/7/365. Coupled with Carilion Patient Transport & Newport Volunteer Rescue, they cover the communities of Glen Lyn, Narrows, Pearisburg, Newport, Pembroke, Poplar Hill, Eggleston, Goldbond & Staffordsville, as well as mutual aid responses into Craig County & Bland County. Giles Rescue offers both BLS & ALS responses as well as a three time champion Dive Team. They handle swift water rescue & also search & rescue.
