6 weeks to 12 years. Summer program for school age children; drop-in care available; Christian emphasis; 4 year old pre-K: Pinnacle Curriculum; 2-3 year old pre-K: Pinnacle curriculum; Transportation to Blacksburg schools. Mount Tabor Christian Daycare and Preschool is a ministry of Slusser's Chapel Church of God as well as a community service. We are a state licensed facility caring for children ages six weeks to twelve years old regardless of race, creed, color, or handicap.

The centers main function is to help prepare children socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually for school and life experiences through a planned curriculum that incorporates themes and expresses God’s love for each of us in our daily activities

Mount Tabor Daycare is a non denominational Christian preschool, teaching academics as well as helping instill high morals and values through teaching of bible stories and a warm Christian environment. Under the guidance of dedicated, trained leadership the children can be noisy, active and creative.  They learn to share, take turns, respect others and take care of their toys appropriately. This school gives children the opportunity to grow independently and accept responsibility for his/her own behavior.
