Description: The 16-bed Emergency Department at Montgomery Regional Hospital has two obstetric and gynecology exam rooms, and ENT exam room, two cardiac care rooms, two trauma rooms, and a three-bed observation area, two suture rooms, a special pediatric exam room, and a cast and splint room.  This Emergency Department is a Level III Trauma Center with all of the RNs certified in Advanced Life Saving Courses (ACLS, TNCC, PALS, CEN).  The Emergency Department works closely with the regional Emergency Medical Services by providing educational inservice opportunities on a monthly basis.<br />
