Description: The NRV Early Intervention Council is a non-profit organization made up of parents, private providers, public agencies, and interested community persons working together to offer services to babies, toddlers, and their families in the New River Valley.  Early Intervention services are for infants and toddlers who are not developing as expected or who have a condition which can delay normal development. Infants and toddlers may be referred to the NRVEIC by a parent professional who has contact with the child. The IFSP process determines which services are needed for an individual child and family. Services may include assistive technology devices and services; audiology; speech and language; therapy; family training; counseling; health services; nursing services; medical services; nutrition services.
