Innocent until proven guilty. Is it a law to not spit on public highways? How do we know this may not have been an accident, and her car drove into the line of spit?

From my understanding, the views were accidentally blocked as people exited the plant, not incoming. This would not constitute hinderance to go to work, but only a short interruption in waiting until the view was clear to leave. Not unlike waiting for pedestrians to cross a road, or oncoming traffic lanes to clear.

Will she file charges against the state for red lights on the way to work?

What if a bird pooped on her window? Would she file charges against a bird?

spitting @Volvo

It's sad that just one person may degrade the public's postitive opinions of the upstanding character traits of UAW membership at Volvo. I know many of them; they are such postive role-models for others. Spitting (tobacco) on someone's windshield, probably not knowing if the driver's window was up or down: I wouldn't want that for ANY lady or man. - citizen

This is really silly. Our legal sysyem has more important things to take care. Spitting on someone,I can understand. Spitting on a windshield, how stupid of this lady to tie up the sysyem for this. I'm sure this organization is pushing her. Heck, I guess the next thig will be a law suit for spitting - Bobby
