Renting the church?

You have a lot of guts!!! Here say!!!

I know for a fact, because my husband was part of the meeting, that everybody conducted themselves in an orderly way and respected God's house. The meeting also included prayer, singing of the National Anthem, and the Pledge Allegiance of the Flag of AMERICA!! I dare say your poker party would be conducted as such!! God bless you!!

Cadmiun Facts

With all the talk about CADMIUM being a major stepping stone in the Union's reason for unfair labor practices, I took it upon myself to investigate the health hazards of this chemical element.

I think all union members should take the extra time and investigate these hazards of this chemical, instead of listening to what you are told by leaders of the union. They will only want you to hear their side and not lists all the facts.

Here is one website you can check out that has many facts.
http://www.atsdr.cdc.gov/tfacts5.html

One of the highlights that is being left out is: Exposure to cadmium happens mostly in the workplace where cadmium products are made. The general population is exposed from breathing
cigarette smoke or eating cadmium contaminated foods. Cadmium damages the lungs, can cause kidney disease, and may irritate the digestive tract.

There are many more individuals that smoke in/at the plant then there are individuals that are handling the hardware.

I understand the hardware has been removed from the facility.

I feel sorry for the people standing out there on strike for mis-informatin on the hazards of this chemical. I understand this is only one of the issues, but it has got a lot of exposure.

A comment to the reporters of everythingnrv.com:
It would be nice if you did some investigative reporting. You are doing a great job of covering this major story that affect everyone in Southwest Virginia not just the NRV.
But a good question you could have asked Mr. Hancock might have been: Has the International UAW responded to the Federal Mediation Conciliation Service request to assist in resolving the strike?

I think that the union is doing a fine job. My husband is included in the strike and he has been well informed of everthing that is going on. They are trying their hardest to take care of us in these times. I work full time and we have two small children at home. Keep fighting for what you need and believe in! - Chasity Blair

The company pays his salary, just like they pay the salaries of all the local union representatives. He is a volvo employee who is elected to office for Local 2069. The union representatives are paid by the company, not the union (at the local level). - tommy lee
