September 5th, the Wayne Robinson Principles of Community Family Fun Run/Walk in conjunction with the local Branch of the NAACP will be held at Virginia Tech. The event consists of a 5K Run and Walk and a one mile run and walk. It is open to participants of all ages and experience levels. Proceeds from the Run/Walk benefit the Wayne Robinson Endowment. Check-in begins at 4:45pm, with the first race scheduled for between 5:15 and 5:30pm. The event concludes at 6:30pm. Registration forms can also be obtained through the local NAACP.
