On Friday, February 8th at 8:00pm, Radford University presents the State Symphony Orchestra of Mexico. Founded in 1971 and under the direction of maestro Enrique Batiz, The State Symphony Orchestra of Mexico has performed throughout the world and is the first major symphony orchestra to perform at RU in almost 30 years. Their appearance at RU includes works by Brahms, Schumann, Revueltas and Rodrigo's landmark work Concerto de Aranjuez featuring guitarist Alfonso Moreno. The evening promises a world-class musical experience. The concert will be held at Bondurant Auditorium, Preston Hall. Admissionis $15 GP, Child $7.50.
