Join us in this marvelous twilight natural setting for this “family-friendly” multi-media presentations by biologist Karen Francl.  This week's topic is "Bats: Myth vs. Reality". Learn about the nocturnal lives of neighborhood bats--who they are, where they live, what they eat, and how they are beneficial to our town. We will also dispel the myths that give bats a bad reputation. Bat recording equipment will be on-hand and tested, as will nets to capture bats, in the hopes of viewing them close-up around sunset.
