Deadline to register is October 17th for this October 27th excursion. Explore the mysteries of our mountain heritage in the historic district of downtown Abingdon. The lantern led tour will bring the region’s Cherokee Indian, frontier, Revolutionary and Civil War history to life through a unique blend of storytelling, science, history and folklore. Dinner will be on your own at The Tavern Restaurant, one of the oldest buildings in the Southeast, featuring German cuisine. The fee is $35.
