Town Economic Developer, John White (on behalf of the Raymond F. Ratcliffe Memorial Museum), is working on a volume in the “Images of America” series of Arcadia Publishing. The volume is scheduled to be released by Pulaski Fest on October 4, 2008. John is looking for old photographs of Pulaski Town/County for the volume to be entitled “Pulaski.” He will scan your images and return them to you immediately. “Pulaski” will be a wonderful tool to advertise the community. All proceeds of the volume go to the Museum.
Due to safety concerns, the Town of Blacksburg is allowing additional construction hours for the Gables Shopping Center renovation for the following dates and times:
From July 21st to August 1st, 6:00am to 10:00am resuming from 5:00pm to 9:00pm.
The right-hand southbound lane between the 1400 to 1600 blocks of South Main Street, (from El Guadalupes to King Street), will be closed beginning July 21 until August 21. The lane will be completely closed 24 hours each day during this period.
