All Montgomery County administrative offices will be closed, including the following: Health Department, Circuit Court, Clerk of Circuit Court, Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court, and General District Court. The Montgomery Regional Solid Waste Authority Administrative Office will be closed, but the Landfill and Recycling Center will be open from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. All libraries will be open. The Christiansburg & Blacksburg Libraries will be open from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., Meadowbrook Library from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., and the Floyd Library from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Consolidated Collection Sites will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
All BlacksburgTown Administrative Offices will be closed. There will be regular trash/recycling service in the SE Quadrant. Please have your trash and recycling at the curb by 7 a.m. Brush and leaf pickup will begin Tuesday, November 13. Blacksburg Transit, the Community Center, Kipps Gym, and the Aquatic Center will operate on their normal schedules.
The Christiansburg Town Offices will be closed. The Recreation Center will remain open but the recreation and senior center administrative offices will be closed. Garbage collection for Monday, November 12 will be on Tuesday, November 13, along with the regular service. Residents are asked to place their garbage at the edge of the street before 8:00 a.m.
