Event: 'Skywarn Spotter Training - Last Day To Register'

Registration deadline is October 5th. Become part of a nationwide network of volunteers trained to assist the National Weather Service by providing information on what storms are actually doing in the area in which you live. Spotters are trained for spotting tornadoes, funnel clouds and severe thunderstorms and are informed on how to report hail, strong winds, heavy rain floods and heavy snow. Training takes place on Thu, October 11 at 6:30pm in the Montgomery County Governmebt Center.� For more information contact�Kemvia Adams-bush at 540-382-6975 or email adams-bushkj@montgomerycountyva.gov
