You Must Pre-register between May 1st and May 12th. Saturday, May 17th from 8:30am to 11:30am at the Montgomery Regional Solid Waste Authority, (MRSWA), 555 Authority Drive in Christiansburg. Get rid of hazardous chemicals in an environmentally safe manner! Items must be registered between May 1st and May 12th. To register a list of items call (540) 961-1851 in Blacksburg, (540) 382-6128 in Christiansburg, or (540) 394-2120 ext. 4085 in Montgomery County. For identifying hazardous waste, labels may include the following terms: corrosives, flammables, toxic materials, oxidizers. Reduce the amount of waste produced by donating latex paint and save money by choosing paint from the donations. Please do not bring oil based paint, it is hazardous and should be brought to the Household Hazardous Waste part of the event.
