Event: 'Christiansburg Middle School February Parent Workshops'

Friday, February 15th at 7:00pm and 8:00pm. Each topic will be offered twice.
 


“Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Christiansburg High School” presented by Christiansburg High School Counselors. Parents will be able to learn about the various types of high school diplomas and how to help their 8th grade students select the best courses for their 9th grade year.

 


“Drug Awareness 101 for Middle School Parents” presented by Master Sergeant Lucas and an Officer from the Montgomery County Drug Task Force. Parents will be able to learn about and see first-hand the wide range of drugs accessible to adolescents in our area of the state.

 

CMS Mathematics Program. Presented by Vicky Wensel, Mathematics Department Chair and Seydric Williams, CMS Mathematics Lead Teacher. A description of how students are placed in mathematics classes as well as a description of each mathematics course in the middle school curriculum. Parents of 5th graders from the Christiansburg Area are also invited to attend this session.
