On December 19, Blacksburg Transit will discontinue the Price’s Fork route due to consistently below average ridership when compared to the system average. All stops affected by this change will be handled by the Hethwood route, except the Sheffield Drive stop, which will be eliminated.
A public meeting will be held at Blacksburg Transit, 2800 Commerce Street, on Wednesday December 10th from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the elimination of this route, rationale for the change, transportation alternatives, and receive public feedback.
