The Town of Blacksburg has received an application for a special use permit for a drive-in restaurant and an external speaker in the GC, General Commercial zoning district.  The property is located at 1450 South Main Street and is an out-parcel of the First and Main development.

The following meetings have been scheduled to consider this application:

Neighborhood Meeting:  The Neighborhood Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at 7:00 PM in the Police Department Training Room located in William H. Brown Building, (Blacksburg Police Department), at 200 Clay Street, SW. 

Planning Commission Work Session: This committee meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at 5:00 PM in the Police Department Training Room located in the William H. Brown Building, (Blacksburg Police Station), at 200 Clay Street, SW.

Planning Commission Public Hearing:  The Planning Commission Public Hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at 7:30 PM in the Roger E. Hedgepeth Chambers located on the second floor of the Municipal Building, 300 South Main Street.

Town Council Public Hearing: The Town Council Public Hearing will be scheduled following final action by the Planning Commission.
