Barrett, recognized as one of the first political leaders to realize the importance of the arts as an economic stimulus, will share his insights about government and community efforts to transform North Adams into a year-round arts destination. His remarks will include excerpts from the film Downside Up which documents the revitalization and community reactions. Admission for this event is free.
