Thursday, May 8th at 10:00am. New River Valley Chapter 1134 of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association will hold its next meeting at Hong Kong Buffet restaurant, located in Northgate shopping center, 1635 North Franklin St., Christiansburg, across from the recreation center. The program will begin at 10:30 with speaker Beth Obenshain who will discuss the New River Valley Trust and how it will affect the area’s future. Spouses and guests are welcome. NARFE membership includes current as well as retired federal employees.
