May 7th. Celebrate Chocolate during May's Wonderful First Wednesday in Blacksburg. Many activities to choose from - something for everyone! Here is the schedule for this month's activities:

  • Community Show and Tell: Blacksburg High School Jazz Band
  • The Lyric- “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” 7:00pm and 9:15pm

 

• The Blacksburg Library
  • For kids: Meet Tiffany Trent and Judith Clarke; authors of children’s/teens books.
  • For adults: Knits of the Round Table -discuss “Chocolat” by Joanne Harris while we knit. Staff member Shelley Boardman will answer your questions about knitting projects

  • Chocolate Tasting Demonstration - Genie Ranck of The Chocolate Spike
  • Kent Square Condo Tours-Aaron Harris, Pointe West Management
  • Rainbow Riders - Children’s Art display and Chocolate Activities

• Local Artist Showcase: Darcy Meeker and the Backyard Stone Carvers - interactive demonstration
